In honor of Library Lovers Month visit your library - or at least their website. On many sites you can find out about upcoming events, search for books, hold a book, check your account and avoid fines by renewing your books. Many libraries offer wonderful activities for children and adults you may not be aware of. For example: story and craft time, special programs like magicians or read to a dog, adult book clubs, club meetings, and special events like concerts and art shows. Many libraries also offer in addition to books, magazines, DVD’s, music CD’s, audiobooks and computer access. Find out how you can help your library by donating money, books or time. Our library raises money by selling personalized bricks which get placed along the front walkway. My kids are thrilled every time they see their brick and like to look for other people we know. So open your mind and read a book- from the library!
